About the author

YannicK KOUNGA currently work as Managing partner at Africa Venture Lab LLC, a venture that he co-created with four Africans and which aim to invest in social projects with a focus on technology across Africa and provide skills to modern entrepreneurs to successfully run their venture. Yannick R. Kounga T. has extensive experience in Accounting, Finance and Management with Multiprint, CMF Graphics and Schlumberger. As Controller, Yannick was most recently responsible for Risk and internal Control in a transformation project for Schlumberger, a global leader in oilfield service industry. YannicK KOUNGA holds a Master’s degree with majors in Accounting and Finance from University of Douala (Cameroon) and an MBA in Finance from University of Wales (UK). He is a Fellow of several US professional association and community service organizations where he plays multiple roles. He speaks French, English, pidgin and basic Spanish besides four others African dialects and has lived in 16 countries. Outside of work, Yannick is an avid reader/learner, community worker, volunteer, Father, Husband, blogger and poor but keen cook!
